Easter is all about sharing and spending special time with your family & friends. Catching up on the year that has just seemed to fly by. So spoil them with a wonderful, generous spread under the trees, at home or in your nearby park.


Picnics are always such fun, and kids just love them. Make it unique by taking old tomato style boxes, (get them from your local fruit & veg store), and paint them in various bright colours, pinks, blues & yellows. Line then with an old tea towel and fill them with yummy sandwiches, Fruit Skewers, Champagne, Lemonade, Sponge cake and more, it’s up to you how creative you want to be. The Boxes are also great for the kids to use to collect their eggs for the Easter hunt. Take a big picnic blanket (Mr price is currently stocking some wonderful picnic blankets in striking colours) and some scatter cushions, relax, reminisce and enjoy. It’s always a good idea to take a few citronella candles with in case of bees and flies.
